Tuesday 6.15pm – 7.00 pm

Adaptive judo for juniors aged 8 – 16 years old

This class is dedicated to teaching judo to children with learning difficulties / disabilities.

At Rushjudo we endeavour to accommodate any ability in any of our classes, however we have also learned from experience that many children will give up easily if they struggle to settle in. Having the option of a class where children can just be themselves and learn at their own pace has proven to be very successful.

The team have years of experience and are more than happy to talk to any parents who may be feeling apprehensive about their child taking part. The class is all about fun , exercise, judo, gaining extra confidence as well as providing a greater social circle for children and their families.

Tuesday 7.15pm – 8.00 pm

Adaptive judo for Seniors aged 16 years old & over

This class started 10 years ago when Rushjudo first opened. What began as a 6 week course in partnership with Dacorum MENCAP has gone from strength to strength. Our squad have stuck together, travelled around the country and even as far as Sweden to showcase their judo skills !

This class is all about laughs, exercise, co ordination and above all friendships !

Friday 7.15pm – 8.30 pm     Ideal for beginners

Youth and seniors aged 14 years old and over

This is a mixture of technical learning, transition drills and randori ( sparring ).

We have time for free practise where the students learn and practice whatever they want and this allows people for focus on their own judo game !

The randori ( sparring ) is a split of standing and groundwork. you decide which you prefer to do.

Its ideal for older judoka who want to continue with judo but no longer have the mobility or confidence to be thrown.

All abilities are welcome and can learn at their own pace. We have a good mix of youth / adult recreational and competition players.
